Since 1954, when Börje Jönsson started his firm of haulage contractors, quality has been the company's guiding
light. From the very beginning Börje Jönsson realised that it was a major advantage for the customer to have direct contact with
those who are transporting the goods. |

Then, as now, the most usual way to get a cargo transported was to hire a forwarding agency who in turn hired a
haulage contractor. Börje Jönsson was the first to move goods without the involvement of a middleman. |

This fact, and Börje Jönsson's constant awareness of quality, was guaranteed to result in expansion. |

Foreign shipments in particular increased at the end of the fifties to become the dominant part of the
business during the sixties. But the size of the company has never been an objective in itself for Börje Jönsson. |

It was more a question of achieving a critical mass in order to be able to satisfy the needs of
customers and acquire the transport for the most demanding and sensitive cargoes. It is also important always to be at the forefront in
technology and staff ability. |
